Can I use my own venue ID when sending API requests to Wolt?
No, only the Wolt venue ID is a valid variable in API requests. We can however add a Merchant’s ID in the order payload under venue_external_id and in the webhook notifications we send.
Do I have to sign a contract to start developing towards Wolt’s APIs?
Yes, we have standard T&Cs that are sent out before we can share access to our environment.
Do I have to pay to use Wolt APIs?
No, Wolt APIs are free to use.
How can I get notified about service disruptions?
System-wide incidents are reported here. Feel free to subscribe to notifications.
Do you have API rate limits?
Yes, you find them specified per endpoint in Item API, Inventory API and Menu API.
I don’t work with OAuth2.0, do you support any other type of authentication?
You can check out our sFTP solutions for menu management, and our Order Submitter for receiving orders.
Are there different APIs for the different countries Wolt operates in?
No, the APIs are the same but there might be country-specific fields or regulations that you need to keep in mind. Check out here our list of country specific requirements. The list is just a starting point, always check with your merchant if there are more restrictions they need to comply with.
How do I get featured in the Wolt Integration Partner catalogue?
Once you finish an integration with us and have been live for a set period, we will feature you in our Integration Partner catalogue for merchants to discover and use your services!
